Today is the Birthday of Bipin Chandra Pal, Sir C V Raman and Actor Kamal Haasan.
Bipin Chandra Pal was one of the mightiest prophets of nationalism who fought bravely for a noble cause of India’s independence. He was a great patriot, orator, journalist and warrior.

And for Kamal Hassan, what will I say ! Who will forget his acting in "Pushpak", "Ek duje ke liye","He ram", Appu Raja and many more. will upload a interview with him.

Happy Diwali !
The biggest gift I got this diwali that today my daughter Shinjini admitted that she missed me this diwali. She also remembered how fun we made last time when we fired the sparklars and other crackers at Delhi. She told me to come soon to take her home. I was completly taken aback at her first time realisation of her 3.5 year old life, that she misses me. Thanks to god and my wife for giving me the most beautiful daughter. Only thing that pains is my parents didn't see how their son became a proud father. I know they are very happy today wherever they are, seeing me as a father how I realised the simple truth how parents sacrifices their own happiness to see the smiling faces of their children. Now I can understand what pains they had taken to made me comfortable amidst unfavourable conditions.

Remembering Sachin Dev Burman on his Death Anniversary - Biography -1
Today is the Death Anniversary of Sachin Dev Burman.Known as "Sachin Karta" to the music connoisseurs of Kolkata, "Burman Dada" as fondly called by the musicians of Bombay, "Shochin Deb Bormon" by the radio listeners of Bangladesh and West Bengal, India, "S.D. Burman" by the film cine goers or simply "SD" by his "jeans" filmi fans -- he created songs that bore the stamp of his inimitable genius, abounding in variety yet retaining the distinction of his style. Drawing from the vast store of folk music-forms and from the classical teachings, as the mood called for, he produced what is known as the Sachin Dev Burman music which is at once rotund, vibrant and unorthodox both in form and substance.

Finished a book
In “The Lost Symbol”, Dan Brown takes his “symbologist” non-hero Robert Langdon on a high-speed twelve-hour tour around Washington DC. Broadly speaking, it’s like riding pillion on a jetbike driven by a historian screaming conspiratorial travelogue descriptions into your ears like a cricket commentary.
Actually, I think Langdon’s key attribute (his tremendous memory), which is the best thing that Brown created – an historical memory robot able to dredge up every wonky numerological / etymological / mythological fantasy ever imagined, while remaining indifferent to all of them. Even though at one point Brown has a brief chuckle at the Wiki-likes learning of modern students, Langdon himself functions as nothing more complex than a disbelieving walking Wikipedia.
Unfortunately… given how bad a film that first book got turned into, I truly worried at the thought of how bad a film ”The Lost Symbol” promises to be.

another mishaps. Another inquiry with no result. Another outrage by media and heartlessly waiting for the next one because the railway board chairman thinks that anti collision devices are costiler than poor human lives. This time the fault was pointed on that illfated driver who is not alive to prove his innocence. What a shame!
do you think i am over reacting? Yes I am! not because most passengers of both trains are of my state but because they are human beings who have the most important fundamental right right to live. Now please calculate total relief package announced after each rail accidents for the last 4 years and compare to the cost of installation of anti collision devices. Mr. Chairman of rail board can you spend some time from your press conferences to consider this.
the chairman is also pointing that the system was not proven. this device has been successfully installed in konkon railways.
